Veterans Name the Price is simple: if you served, you pay only Rush Plumbing & Air's documented cost for the part, with no markup, and then you decide what the labor was worth. That can be a hundred dollars or a handshake. It is not a discount and not a coupon. It is a different way of settling the bill, built on respect for your service. See the full program here.
The three steps
Every Veterans Name the Price job follows the same path, whether it is a scheduled repair or a 2 a.m. emergency.
- Tell us you served when you call. Book any residential job and mention you are a veteran. Nothing else changes about how fast we respond.
- You pay our cost for the part. We show you the documented cost of the part with no markup added.
- You name the labor. After the work is done, you decide what the labor was worth to you.
Why we do it this way instead of a percentage discount
Most trades offer a flat military or veteran discount, often around 10 percent. That is a kind gesture, but on a small job it adds up to very little, and on a big job the company still sets the price. Veterans Name the Price flips that. You are never marked up on parts, and the labor is genuinely your call. For a lot of veterans, that ends up being a far better deal than 10 percent off a marked-up invoice.
Same work, same guarantee. You get the exact same licensed plumbing, the same 24/7 emergency response, the same camera-first honesty, and the same one-year workmanship guarantee as any other customer. The only thing that changes is how the bill works.
What jobs qualify?
The program applies to residential and emergency plumbing across our North DFW service area: drain cleaning, water heater repair and replacement, leak detection, slab leak repair, trenchless sewer, and repiping. It runs year round, not just around Veterans Day, and it is open to individual veterans and to VFW posts throughout the area. If your post wants us to come explain it in person, we will.
